There are several companies that offer guided tours that stop at various attractions along the main ring road, then head up into the hills. These trips in all-terrain vehicles may shake your dentures loose, but they are well worth a little bone jarring. The views are awe-inspiring, the air is a little cooler, and even the gorgeously large blossoms seem bigger and more brightly colored.
